Volunteer Opportunity
If you are interested in offering your time and yourself as a volunteer to be a body for students in this workshop when the student participate alone.
Pre-requisite to be considered for this volunteer body, you will need to receive an experiential session from me at the reduced price so that you will be comfortable and familiarized prior to be the volunteer body.

This one day introductory workshop, Discovery, is designed and ideal for couples, male partners, two interested friends or just for yourself, either you're single or already in a relationship, to integrate, balance and harmonize energies within us by unblocking, circulating and releasing these energies. We use Lomilomi Temple Style as a healing tool.
Participants will learn and review basic contents (not all as this is only one day workshop, Aloha Spirits, heart and energy connection will be more focused), Hawaiian Spirituality, healing work and principles. Techniques are as important as intangible aspects of bodywork. Much of work is done by love-unconditional love (aloha) and heart. We will go over the Three Selves and Energy Centers/Floors (also known as Chakras) to see which energies might need attention.
We typically struggle with the Base, Sacral and Navel Chakras which corresponds to personal survival, sexuality/creativity and personal power (power over yourself not the others), respectively. As these energies within our Basic Selves are cleared and mastered, we will feel unconditional love, aloha and the energy from Heart. You focus, as a giver, full, complete and deep attention to a receiver with unconditional love and compassion from your heart. Feeling this, the receiver’s body and heart open up from inside and relaxes. That is why energies flow freely with long flowing loving touch of Lomilomi: any negativity such as baggage, wishes and wants that no longer serve you to shift out of your body and positive energies shifted into your body. It restores the balance, harmony and integration of all energies, basic self, conscious self and higher self.
Healing can occur physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The giver and the receiver develop trust, self-trust, empathy, love, aloha spirits and care for others and yourself. Therefore, the whole experience of giving and receiving this work will help you to increase the level of intimacy and develop stronger spiritual and emotional bonds. It naturally helps to develop fulfilling meaningful relationship. Thus, it is a great way to improve relationships, nourish and enhance your intimacy with Lomilomi Temple Style. You will learn fundamental forearm strokes, elbows work and foot/body movement are introduced to incorporate with hula movements, breath and dance. You will also practice hands on before and after lunch break to perform the full-front and back routines and integrate both into one full-body run. This is a great opportunity to change your belief system and expand your boundaries. The following concept and bodywork techniques are introduced and/or covered as much as the time allows:
- Hula Movements
- Ka'alele
- Ha-Breath
- Hawaiian Chant
- Huna Principles (seven principles, three selves and chakras)
- Temple-Style Lomi Lomi (Full-Body)
Please note, despite the high level of intimacy, focus is on the state of body electric and the sexual energy shift upwards to higher energy floors, thus, we do not aim the goal to be sexual or sex therapy..

The introductory workshop is available in three formats:
- Lomi Lomi for Two Part I - $150 per person.
- Lomi Lomi for Two Part II - $150 per person Part I begins at 9am and ends 1 pm
Part II begins at 2pm and ends 6 pm- Lomi Lomi for Two One Day(I&II) - $350 per person.One Day workshop begins at 8:15am and ends 6 pm.
- Try-out session - $200 for two. A 140 minutes session with you and your friend or partners to receive, give Lomilomi and take some techniques to try at home (Please book your session directly with JD).
For those who are requesting a date outside of established schedule: Once your dates are confirmed, please make a deposit to secure the date or make a full payment to ensure the date or dates you desire is reserved. If you make a deposit, the balance is due 7 days prior to the date of workshop.
If you register within this 7-day window, the balance is due when the date is confirmed.
Workshops have 3 sequences: Discovery (introduction), Evolution (core) and Manifestation (advance). All workshops are currently at the Discovery level. Other sequences will be offered as Haumanas become ready. Upon completion of this Discovery workshop, participants acquire enough to put one very basic Lomi Lomi Temple-Style session. Instead of group setting, you can learn the fundamental basic content and techniques just for you and your partner, with your friend or just for yourself in a safe and sacred space (Halau). It is practically a private lesson so it is intense as you learn everything about the discovery of Temple Style Lomi Lomi in one day. The safe and sacred space provides another WAY (Happiness, Love and Peace) to explore and relate to other person (particularly other men in this workshop). You as a give and a receiver will be surrounded by Sprits of Aloha and intimacy.
